Car description

This 1991 Buick LeSabre Limited Coupe was bought new with the premium option package by my father. He drove it for 13 years and 60000 miles then gave it to me who has maintained it ever since. It's been reliable and fun to drive for the past 11 years. Some of the nice things about this car:

  • V6 Engine
  • Leather upholstery
  • Power windows/locks/seats tilt wheel intermittent wipers
  • Very good sound system
  • Owner's Manual & 2 sets of keys
  • Excellent heat & rear window defroster
  • Center console for arm rest & storage
  • Lighted visor vanity mirror
  • Cruise control
  • Original floor mats front and rear
  • Deluxe wheel covers
  • Body side stripe
  • Added CD player
The mechanics at Bennett's Auto Shop in Middleton WI have taken good care of the Buick for me over the years but they tell me now it is time to let it go. It still runs but I need something a little more reliable. Here's what the mechanics say about the car: there is a damaged camshaft position sensor and cam interrupter. The car is drive-able but may occasionally die at stops; it always restarts immediately. Struts and shocks are worn. The exhaust is leaking and will need to be replaced at some point from the converter back. There is a small transmission fluid leak. Other issues: the "Service Engine Soon" light goes on and off; the air conditioner doesn't work; the lighter is broken; I broke the jack so there is no jack; the cup holder is broken and the dome light cover is missing. The car was altered for hand brakes but those were taken off when I assumed the car. I put in a CD player but still have the original tape-deck in a box. The windshield was replaced a few years ago.The body of the car has rust and dings here and there one dent in the passenger door. Except for the dented door the car has not been in an accident as far as I know. Inside the driver's seat and door shows the most wear. The passenger and back seats still look good (leather). Car sold as is. Bidders from the area email to inspect before the end of the auction. Out-of-Area winning bidder can inspect after bidding is final.
