This is a 67 year old beauty. Still running and will probably run when it's over a hundred. Made when the USA built things to last. No planned obsolescence here. The car has a248cuin (4.1L)FireballI8engine. There is enough room under the hood to sit on the fender put your legs inside the car and work away. The 1947 Super is long and heavy and makes for a great driving experience. It's great to tooling around your town and community. Draws people at shows and is a darn nice car. Runs well. Torque is amazing. You shift into second at 10 miles an hour third at 20 and everything else is in third. The heater fan under the car for the back seat makes more noise than I like so I've got another to put in. I also ordered a new insert for the glove box. The old one is available but it's just a little ratty. The trunk will hold several bodies or just general stuff. In other words it's big. I love this car but want another and the wife says we will not have a fleet of cars. I've put over 22K into the car and know I won't get anywhere near that out but feel it's a good car and my reserve is fair. Last year I had work done on the following: New coker radials valves adjusted radio repaired front end tightened up windshield wiper repaired battery replaced and more. I have receipts for the work done. I added the sun visor and swamp cooler. Feel free to call with questions. I have this for sale locally and could pull it from the auction if it does sell.
