Car description

1963 Buick Skylark Convertible. Original 215 Aluminum V-8 engine. Automatic two speed Dual Path Turbine Drive transmission. Car was restored about 10 years ago. It still shows well. Runs great. Paint is a good, but not perfect. This is my wife's car and she recently purchased a new car so this one has to go. The car has always been garaged kept. Air conditioning was professionally added during the restoration and works great on those hot days when the convertible top down is too much heat. The white top was also replaced with a new one during the restoration. and it has never leaked to my knowledge. It works well and is a power top. Many extra parts go with the car including, door handles, window cranks, complete dash insert/gauges, extra new set of tires and wheels, steering column, mirrors etc. I always acquired extra parts as I could find them to have with the car. The transmission was professionally rebuilt about 5000 miles ago by Jeff's Transmissions of Tampa Florida who specializes in Dual Path Turbine transmissions. Now the flaws- speedometer currently does not work. I have a new gear and cable for it to fix the issue and it goes with the car. Drivers rear quarter window has two worn teeth on the gear. It does roll up almost all the way, you just have to help it the last 2 inches or so. This cars runs and drives very well. I have no idea if the 44K miles showing is original or not. I have owned the car for 12 years and have never had an issue with it. However it is a 57 year old car! That said, old cars do need upkeep on a regular basis to keep them running well. If you are willing to do the basic maintenance needed it should be a very dependable running car.
Car is sold as is, where is, and has absolutely no warranty whatsoever.
