Car description

Up for sale is a one family owned from new 1964 Buick Skylark two door hard top, with nice black paint and the original and also very nice interior. This little Buick has lived with this family from new, always garaged and well maintained. "The mother who bought the car in 1964 gave it to her daughter and her husband when she was not able to drive anymore". The daughter who is now in her 80's has decided to sale. Her husband and maintainer of the car went to worked for the Buickdealer here in town when he got out of Hi School in 1950. Rode a Harley service Bike to pick up customers cars when young. He stayed with the dealership for 32 years and evolved to service writer for the Buick dealership. Then took a position at our local collage as the Auto Mechanics instructor for 20 years. He said he is a Buick Man and has always taken good care of the car all its life. He added Air conditioning, Seat belts front and rear, electric seat on the drivers side, HEI distributor, a over sized radiator and had the original engine re-ringed about 20 years ago. (starts easy and runs strong) It has the automatic transmission and it shifts very nicely. The body is very nice with "no" rust ever and the car had a nice repaint in 1983. The paint is 37 years old and dose have a few very small nicks and a few bubbles in the paint on top of the trunk lid. (hard to see on the pictures but paint is nice for it's age) The interior is all original with its Blue seats and blue carpeting. The dash is bright and looks new as dose the original head liner. The drivers side seat dose have a tare in the center bottom cushion. (please look at pictures closely) It has a add on air unit under the dash, but the husband said it will need charged. This is one of those cars every car guy in town watched, hopping it would come up for sale, but the little old lady that drove it "would not sale". Now after all those years she has decided to let it go, but would like to see it go out of town. I'm listing this beautiful Buick for my friends and will take all questions to them. (I was one of the car guys that watched this car for years) Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can.
