$10k no reserve.Hello eBay, up for sale today is my 1966 Skylark GS.Real GS, rare factory 4 speed, runs and drives well. Numbers matching engine. Not original paint color (original was dark blue metallic) and paint job is poor with plenty of flaws but presents well when cleaned up. Great drivers car or restoration candidate. When sanding I didn't see much body work/filler, extremely straight car. Some slight bondo in rear drivers quarter and the metal around the rear window/sail panels was all newer and filled in. Rear trunk panel around GS badge was poorly filled in when repaired by previous owner (I thought it was covered in trim but turns out GS's are not). Also looks like floors and possibly parts of trunk were repaired in the past, but solid now. Worst of the rust is a few bubbles on edge of hood as pictured.Runs, drives, stops.Front disc conversion, no AC from factory, factory tach, all gauges work except speedo (needs new cable). I installed a temp gauge and electric fan. Custom made radiator from factory specs, newer water pump, alternator, rag joint, spark plugs, air filter, new mallory module in the coil, tires are about a year old with minimal miles on them, list goes on.Has Posi rear from previous owner but has high gearing (4.10 or something close, make over 60-65 tough), great around town, drove it 4 hours to OCMD and just cruised at 60/65 fine no issues.Interior is beautiful, no headliner but I have a new one. Some westherstripping has been replaced, some I have but haven't installed, still needs around the pop out windows replaced and the main top one along the whole roof is crumbling.Replaced front and rear windshields. Sourced every chrome trim piece that's missing, just don't have all the clips to install.Newer exhaust system, everything in the front has been rechromed including hood vents, rear bumper is original and has a few dents/scratches.Overall super solid driver, awesome resto candidate, and rare factory manual car. Send me your phone number and I will be glad to talk about the car, send more pics, and answer any questions. Cheers!
