1972 Buick Skylark Base Coupe 2-Door 5.7L Low Miles

The car is a very solid and wonderful driving vehicle. The 350 engine runs fantastic and has a new 4 barrel carb. extremely smooth idle and wonderful power from it. I have driven it on a couple multi state cruises with zero issues. I replaced the original Harrison AC compressor with a new modern unit. it draws less HP and is a bit smoother operating. The suspension on the car has all been replaced. complete new steering components from ball joints to bushings it has all been replaced. plus a new Delphi 600 steering box and matching power steering pump was added. It makes the car extremely tight feeling and looses the flimsy GM feel. It now compares to driving a modern rack type steering system. Rear heavy duty sway bar was added to make the car handle better. Over all. these changes made a huge benefit in the way the car drives. The upholstery. at least up front was replaced some years back with NOS materials. and everything looks very nice inside. new carpeting was added at the same time. The AM FM radio works well. It has kick panel speakers installed and two speakers under the new package tray cover. ready for any aftermarket stereo to be added. The original kick panels are in the truck and go with the carThe body was repainted some 12-15 years ago. and still looks fantastic. Floors. fenders. quarters. all appear rust free. there was some surface rust in the trunk under the dreaded GM trunk mat. It was repainted as well and no issues. Top is still original and was re-dyed two years agoA great car that runs extremely smooth and is reliable. plus looks great getting there. perfect for afternoon cruises or car show.
