1987 Buick Grand National GNX
When Buick introduced the Grand National, needless to say, the Muscle Car field was anemic at best, heck a Vette only had 185 horses. If you know anything about the performance car era of the mid 1980s this car really needs no introduction. With the advent of multi-port fuel injection and intercooled turbo chargers the required "ponies to play" equation was pumped up considerably and Buick, of all makes, became the benchmark. With 300 horses the 3.8 Liter Twin Turbo Intercooled V6 began to gobble up many a previous competitor on the track and street with 0 to 60 times in the sub 6 second range and about a Buck Four in the Quarter. Not only did you get loads more power and torque in the muscle bound Regal, you still got all the creature comforts Buick had become known for in your father's era, not to mention styling that was pretty avant garde for the times. This great example, with under 43k miles. in the preferred Black cloaking, has all the power options and is in fabulous condition. That being said, there has been some minor paint work done due to the issues GM had with their paint formula from this era and the bumper fillers have been replaced, again due to original engineering not damage. Here is your chance to harken back to those days when gas was well under a dollar and cassettes were the mainstay of your music collection.
