We are trying to be fair to all buyers and we do not want non paying bidders bidding up cars that an honest person wants to buy, and being bid up by a person who is playing a game with our account and thousands of other accounts in this country. We want to be fair and square to all real potential bidders. Non paying buyers will be reported to eBay. We hope not to have any.Balance is to be paid by check, cash orwire transfer only. Please send us your name and phone number directly through eBay so we can work out the paperwork and delivery afterdeposit has been made. We charge $150 for paperwork and title transfer and 45 daytags are available for $25.
We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’sthe buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.
If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 781-763-7447 Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.
All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.
Thank you for looking at our 1940 Buick 4-door Special. This car has the straight 8 cylinder, 3 on the tree, and drives great. It has only 71K actual miles and a clean title. As you can see, the title is in the Flickr below, along with the other 100 pictures. The car is green with a tan interior. This car came out of a collection where the gentleman that presently owns it is selling off his complete collection of cars. The car is a little dusty, because it came out of a storage garage and was put into another larger building where he runs an auction. But he's not going to auction this car off. He asked me to put it on eBay and sell it for him. Every single person that saw me taking pictures of this car that works at the auction tells me how well it runs and how good it sounds. And here again, he has mechanics on duty that always maintain all his vehicles, including this one.
The body, interior, the bumpers, the glass, and the underneath we believe to be in fantastic shape for an 80 year old car. The clock that goes in the glove box could use a little help. This is definitely a nice car to take to car shows, parades, picnics, or on Sunday drives. It's a type of vehicle that you could spend 99% of your time in it driving it and 0 to 1% of your time underneath it, because it really does run well. You could presently get in it and drive it home, which is the last thing I suggest you do, unless you live 10-20 miles from Cleveland, because that's where it's at. Anybody who would like to see this vehicle before they bid, please call me and I'll give them an address to where its at. It's not at the car lot, it's at the auction. So if you're ready to cruise in a cool old classic car, just be the last highest bidder in 7 days and you'll have that opportunity to have fun with it all summer.
