Car description |

I recently acquired this Buick from an older gentlemen who owned it for years and meticulously maintained her. She has her original straight 8 engine that runs excellent. Shifts through the gears effortlessly. Still has the 6 volt charging system. Was restored some years back. I would categorize her as a "nice driver". There are some minor blemishes in the paint here and there. Excellent car for parades, local car shows or just cruising.
Recent work done:
New top with boot cover
New batteryNew carburetorNew fuel pumpNew electronic ignitionNew wiresNew gas tankNew Coker wide white wallsNew brake lines and brakesNew InteriorNew starter
She will need a new clutch eventually as it slips under hard acceleration. It's fine under normal driving conditions. It's for this reason I am setting the reserve far below the market value of this rare Buick. So if the buyer is mechanically inclined, this will be a great buy. 4804 Buick convertibles were produce in 1940. She drives down the road very nice, like floating on air!. The underside is very clean with no rust anywhere. I have a title in the previous owners name. Maine does not issue titles on vehicles of this age. Will be sold with registration in my name and a bill of sale. Can assist with shipping.
