Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #3+

This is a rare, 1962 Buick Electra 225 Riviera Sedan 4800 Series in absolutely amazing condition inside and out. It is a remarkably well-preserved Electra that is a true survivor with mostly all original paint, all original interior, and all original chrome which you do not find cars like this anymore. It recently came out of a long term ownership of a large private collection of classic cars. Prior to that we were told the original owner was a Doctor out of Pennsylvania who babied this car. The interior still has plastic on the seats from 1962, which is very unique to find, as the seats have been untouched by people or sunlight since new. The exterior is finished in a beautiful willow mist exterior with a matching green interior, which looks great with just 55k original miles. The motor is the 401ci OHV V8 engine with the higher horsepower 325hp engine with automatic transmission. The car is absolutely very well equipped and loaded with options including power everything, factory air conditioning, power trunk release, speed warning indicator, and the list goes on. The car has always been well maintained and garage kept as the body and underside is completely rust free. This is one very cool car to have as part of a collection or own as an investment item.

Exterior: *Condition #3-

The exterior on this car is in wonderful condition and presents excellent as it is a true survivor with mostly all original paint on it. This car shows amazing in pictures and from a little distance. Upon close inspection the original paint has a few flaws here and there, as it has some chips that have been touched up. Some staining on the hood and trunk, in the metallic but overall I would leave it alone as it is original. But could be touched up if you would like to but it looks very nice and adds a little patina to the car, which does not really effect an original car in my opinion. The car has all original chrome and trim which is in absolutely amazing condition for being original, with just a couple little dings in the rear bumper. But again I would leave it as a little patina for being original. Also there is a little pitting on top of the rear taillights, which is hardly noticeable, but on full disclosure it is there. All of the glass is crystal clear like new, the original vinyl top is in excellent condition with a couple little bumps underneath. It is sitting on its original wheels with the optional deluxe hubcaps in amazing condition and white wall Goodyear bias-ply tires, which seem to be in newer condition and drive nice on the car but we do not know the age for sure. The body is as straight as an arrow and completely rust free.

Interior: *Condition #3+

The interior on this car is completely 100% all original in absolutely magnificent condition, finished in green to match the exterior. The seats are green vinyl and cloth and they still have plastic on them since day one but underneath the plastic, the seats appear to be in amazing condition. The original carpet is excellent, it has original Buick floor mats and all of the chrome trim and bright work inside the car is in spectacular condition. The dash, gauge cluster, and steering wheel are like off the showroom floor, new looking. The original headliner is in excellent condition and so is the package tray. Overall this is just a wonderful example of an original interior and has seat belts, which are great for the kids. All of the weather stripping is in original condition and is nice and pliable showing it was in really nice storage. Everything works inside the car including the factory air conditioning blowing cold, speed warning indicator, radio, power antenna, courtesy lights, power trunk, horn, heater, defroster, speedo, power seat, power windows, wipers, all of the lights. With the exception of the clock and gas gauge not working but we will look into the gas gauge and see if we can fix it. Inside the trunk is absolutely spectacular and looks like its never been used. It is one of the nicest trunks I've ever seen on a vintage car like this. The trunk has original Buick trunk mats, the US Royal spare looks like its never been used, the jacks never been out the car, the jack instructions, and all original weather stripping. Overall the interior on this Buick is one of the nicest original surviving interiors we have seen in a while.

Mechanically: *Condition #3+

Mechanically, this car is in excellent condition and it runs and drives like a low mileage car should, just like a dream. It floats down the road, hit a bump and there is not a squeak or rattle in the car. You just couldn't ask for a nicer riding car. It is powered by its original 401ci Nailhead V8 engine with the optional higher horsepower 325hp 4-barrel carb. Under the hood is completely all-original in very nice condition, never been detailed, original paint, decals and very presentable under the hood. The transmission shifts as smooth as butter, the brakes and power steering all work amazing and the original air conditioning compressor with the Buick stamp on it that amazingly still works. Mechanically the car needs nothing.

Under Carriage: *Condition #3

This Under Carriage on this vehicle is all original and as solid as a rock totally rust free. This is just a nice and clean under carriage, that nobody has ever hidden anything underneath, its just in great original shape.
