Car description

This 1967 Buick Skylark hardtop is an interesting treat. It's a true survivor that has averaged less than 1,030 miles annually and has a high degree of originality, right down to the bright factory paint. So you're going to love showing off this V8 coupe that has been treated with the highest respect for over half a century. And it even has cold A/C! This A-body General Motors coupe carries plenty more curves than its more common Chevelle... cousin. Plus, it's hard not to stare at the Aquamarine paint. It's the original factory application, and we'd all wish to look this good after 52 years. Buicks are always known for tasteful brightwork, and it goes particularly nice on this design. The chrome front bumper draws added attention to the pointed front end, the rear bumper fits the body like an integral part of the design, and the full-length rocket trim connects the two ends in a subtly elegant way. It has a nice sporty look with the flying buttress on the hardtop roof, Buick Rally wheels, and hash marks behind the front wheels. And that's balanced nicely with premium features like the black vinyl roof and rear fender skirts. So this is not only a survivor, but also a looker, too. Inside, the factory aqua interior demonstrates more of the respect this car has seen from day one. After all, you can't go a half-century and still look this good without a watchful eye. The bright color has an unmistakable vintage charm on the seats, door panels, carpets, and even the dashboard. But what really makes this Buick attractive is the interior trim. There's plenty of brightwork, from the badges embedded in the doors, to the strip of trim that stretches across the dashboard. Even the original AM radio is still on display. This has a great cruiser attitude with a fold-down armrest, grippy classic steering wheel, and a speedometer as long as the horizon. And feel free to cruise around all day showing off the pillarless hardtop profile, because the air conditioning has been upgraded to cold-blowing modern R134a. Under the hood is Buick's 300 cubic-inch V8. This is the correct motor for the car, and all signs point to it being the powerplant this coupe had when it left the Baltimore factory over 50 years ago. The five bearing motor is both smooth and powerful, which is everything you want in a Buick. Combine this with power steering and an ST-300 automatic transmission, and we bet you won't be able to resist adding windshield time to this low mileage Skylark. The sale of this survivor comes with terrific documentation like the original window sticker and Protect-o-Plate. Even the original A/C compressor comes with the sale. This is a rare true survivor that's up for grabs. So if you love elegance and history, call today!
