Purchased 4 years ago. From owners wife and mother in law,so dont know a lot about it.They were relocating and he was on the road.Just drove it home 10 miles and parked it my garage it ra, drove and stopped fine. Will have to be trailered it is close to 50 years old.The engine looks like a 455 NOT ORIGINAL.Ram or clean air hood. With original ram air cleaner.Have seen these on ebay for $500.Has receipts for top end rebuild, super comp headers, ball joints, bushings, idler arm, alignment, ignition conversion.Missing inner fender wells so no fender tag.T
he 455 was one of the first "thin-wall casting" engine blocks at GM, and because of thisadvance in production technology, it weighs significantly less than other engines of comparable size for example, 150lb less than aChevrolet 454
and only 25lb more than aChevrolet 350,
and the available three speed turboSuper Turbine 400
automatic transmission (revered as the finest automatic transmission ever built, and commonly called Turbo Hydra-matic 400), U-shape Hurst (automatic transmission) shifter and linkage, located on a center console.will try to answer questions if i can. Wouldnt start last week put on fuel pump, poured a little gas down carb and fired up would suggest new carb or rebuild
