I'm looking to sell my rare and highly desirable non running1957 Buick Century Caballero Estate Wagon 4 door hardtop to help fund a new shop build. This car has PS, PB, AC, power seats and windows. The car was originally Dover white with red and white interior. The car is fairly solid and has a clear and current Ks title. The car came out of a long time collection in Nebraska and has never been offered for sale on Ebay before. The great thing about the car is that it's missing very few parts so you won't have to track much down during the restoration. The previous owner removed the door panels, PW switches, engine fan and shroud. Those parts are included with the car. The door panels are missing 2 pieces of stainless trim (1 straight piece on the front and 1 straight piece on the back). The 364 engine will turn a couple of inches at the crank pulley but I couldn't get it to make a full rotation so the engine condition is unknown. The automatic transmission holds in park and shifts to neutral to roll it around. The car will need some rust repair mainly to the front floors and patches on the rockers. The trunk and spare tire well have some very small holes and should be savable. The doors have alot of exterior surface rust but don't need much work at all. The door pillars and posts are solid. The tailgate is excellent and the upper hatch is solid with some surface rust underneath. The bottom gate latches properly but I haven't been able to get t he upper hatch to latch to it. The quarters, fenders, inner fenders, roof and hood are great for restoration. The bumpers and grille are solid and straight cores for restoration. All exterior trim is in place with no major damage. All soft rubber parts will need replaced during the build of this car. The windshield and door glasses should be replaced but the 3 pieces of rear glass are good. The car has a complete dash with wonder bar radio. I do not have keys to this car. The original red/white interior is in rough shape and needs replaced. The car rolls and steers for transport and all serious buyers are welcome. The car is for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime before a bid is placed. There's a $500 non refundable paypal deposit due within 48 hours of auctions end with full payment due in 7 days by wire transfer or cash. Thanks and good luck bidding.
