If you are looking for a good solid. easy to restore project that is super solid and simple to work on and is WORTH putting the time into. this is a great little car. I bought this from a family that inherited it from an elderly Aunt when she passed away. It was her pride and joy. but the new family neglected it and left it bake in the hot sun before putting it away in a garage and leaving it there for over 34 years. It has just under 52000. original miles. The body is pretty much RUST FREE. I didn't see any bubbling around any doors. fender wells etc. I took the back seat out and the floor under there is rock solid. This car spent most of it's life in the very dry climate of Yakima Wa. and central Montana. The engine sounds great. a rocket 350 with an automatic transmission. We have not hooked the gas tank back up yet. after all these years as we wanted to make sure it was clean before refilling. We hope to check it and refill it in the next few days. The top is shot. and the seats will need reupholstering to make them nice. There is one gentle dent in the right rear 1/4 where I assume the lady skimmed the garage door putting it inside. The rest is very straight. and very solid. never repaited that I can tell. I checked. and a new top in my area will run. $950. to $1200. depending on who you have do it. In my mind this is a very decent. simple to work on. unmolested car that would make a very nice. asy project without having to get into rust repair and engine swaps etc. Convertibles make fun parade cars. and always hold their value better than most any other car. The white on white will be easier to drive in the warm sun than any black interior dark colored car. Car has power steering and brakes. Thanks for checking it out. call me if you have any questions.
