Selling my 1962 Buick Special Deluxe to fund another project. She drives straight and true with her aluminum 215 V8 mated to a late 80s TH200 2spd automatic tranny shifting on the tree. Used for cruising around town primarily. she'll "cut a rug" on the highway and run at 90mph all day long. She's by no means perfect nor a complete restoration - just a great. fun. slightly "ratted" daily driver with a lot of personality. and that gets a lot of looks and 'thumbs up' from people because they don't see these every day. Fully rewired 12v electrics with all lights and gauges inside and out working. and wired for audio front and back. She's even got the original Denver Buick dealership trim mounted on the back. All glass and rubber trim all the way around is intact. with no cracks or chips. Wing windows seal flawlessly as do all windows and doors. Matte black 2-coat exterior with all chrome except the side trim intact. bright and shiny. Interior is 85% complete with new custom door panels and new headliner. Original upholstery is in. though splitting along several seams. so I have some cheap car seat covers on until they can be repaired as well as an extra set of "country blanket" seat covers new in box. Carpet is also red and new. albeit not anchored well and could use a shampoo and a re-mount. Original radio in the dash. audio deck setup in glove compartment. Detachable Grant steering wheel and engine kill switch installed for security. No rust in body and only a couple areas of surface rust on underside. Power steering. new drums all around as well as well as new tires (less than 250 miles on them). Though not shown. I have all 4 original Buick hubcaps for the steels. I'm selling her to fund a complete restoration of a 1965 Volvo P1800S coupe I picked up last year. Vehicle pick-up is the sole responsibility of the buyer once funds are guaranteed. I am selling her as-is. where-is. with no warranty expressed or implied. She's a 53 year old honey who needs someone to drive her and take care of her.
