Please make sure you look at the two videos of this car on YouTube by searching "dwninphx"
Very clean, straight, rust-free Southwest Skylark convertible. The paint and the car is old, and not real shiny. Although with a buff and wax It could be a little bit better. Please realize of pictures were taken right after the car had been washed, and it they make the car seems shinier than it actually is. The interior is almost perfect. Please understand that interior was not cleaned out before pictures were taken. I found no rips or tears or imperfections. The convertible top has no rips and seems to be in decent condition, along with the back window. I got this car on eBay about 6 months ago, and it is set for quite a while. It has fresh fuel, cleaned out fuel tank, rebuilt carburetor, an electric fuel pump was installed by the previous owner. With that said, the car runs and drives decent. But definitely will need some more work before it can be driven daily. It also should be considered not drivable home. It should be shipped. What I know it needs. Is the choke on the carburetor is not operating properly. Also, there's a vacuum leak on the throttle shaft of the carburetor the causes some rough idling. Also, the distributor was inserted a hundred eighty degrees off by a previous owner. The spark plug wires are aligned properly, but you cannot get enough vacuum advance to tune the car properly thwithout reinstalling the distributor. The car does run with no smoke. And with these few things taken care of, I think you can have a dependable running car. I have only driven this car down the street, and around the parking lot. So my experience driving it is very limited. Please see the videos on YouTube of this car being driven. You can search "DWNINPHX" on youtube for the videos.
