Car description

72 Buick Skylark convertible.GS hood with GSX stripes painted on Saturn Yellow body.Body was disassembled painted, and then assembled. Beautiful car. This was done in 2014. Built ground up. Body was not removed from frame, but most components removed and either restored or replaced. All new suspension and brakes, front disc rear drum. New shocksNew springs Paint and body work only a few years old and is great! Saturn yellow with GSX striping. Black interior. Bench seat column shiftFront bench seat has arm rest, and seat cover is new and niceRear seat needs new seat cover, this one has cracks.Door panels front and rear are older, but look ok.New carpet was installed. No radio, but do have the radio face plate. A nice reliable and powerful Buick drive train.Buick 455 +.030 forged pistons iron heads with new stage 1 valves and springs Balanced rotating assembly new custom ground hydraulic cam and lifters SP1 intake with Quadrajet Power LLC 830 cfm Quadrajet electronic ignition with MSD box Electric fans to keep it all cool Switch Pitch turbo 400 transmission Convertor will stall to 4200 when brake applied, low stall about 1400. Power steering Power disc brakes 8.5" posi rear with 4.10 gears Rear mounted battery 15" Buick rally wheels. Drag radials in rear
Car has A/C installed, but never charged it. Rarely put the top up and have never turned on A/C or heat.Convertible top motor and lines are new. Top is electric operating and has worked every time for me without issues. Power relays installed for top motor to protect the dash switch. This car was built to be a driver, in town. Not on highway so gears were fun light to light. It is not without flaws. After paint was finished, and it was put back together, I started driving it. There are a few detail things that were never finished, because they weren't required to enjoy the car. Way to much to list on this car. It does need some minor finish out. Rear seat still needs recovered and there are a few electrical light things for it to be perfect. I will be glad to stop driving it long enough to take pictures of anything you want to see.
