Car description

1972 Buick GS455 Stage1 clone
This car is a great cruiser and Street Strip bruiser. Handles around town like a dream and runs 12.68s @ 105.78mph in the Quarter mile with a 1.83 60ft.
Currently registered and driving in Connecticut. All paperwork in order. Have lots of documentation including Sloan Documentation. Have recepits for all parts & work.
455 Stage1 engine built by PIP Auto Machine in Bethel, CT (have receipts)Ported heads w/big valves, TA Performance SP1 intake, Headers, Magnaflow Xpipe 2.5" exhaust. Turbo style mufflers are mellow and don't resonate around town or on the highway, but ROAR when you really get into the throttle.
Tuned 800cfm Quadrajet #7042240 and HEI distributor by Everyday Performance LLC. Aluminum radiator.
Turbo350 transmission with performance kit and TCI breakaway torque converter. B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter.
3.73 posi 10 bolt 8.5" rear axle. 255/60-15 Mickey Thompson drag radials out back. 245/60-15 Cooper Cobras up front. Buick 15x7" rally wheels with Buick centercaps all around.
New shocks and springs. 1.25" aftermarket front sway bar.
All new brake lines. Disk front brakes.
This car was originally a Silver fern w black vinyl top Skylark 350 2 barrel car. GS hood section with scoops and grills were patched into the stock hood. Left rear quarter was replaced prior to paint, and the right rear quarter wheelhouse section was also patched. Front fenders are aftermarket pieces, totally solid.
This is not a show car, its a 10 footer, intended to be driven, not points judged. The paint was done in my home garage using Eastwood epoxy primer, hi build primer, PPG shopline color and clear. Sprayed with an Eastwood Concourse gun. It is a very nice looking driver, painted fall 2017.
It has some suspension creaks ( I think its from the body mounts, which remain original.).
The car is located in Granby, CT.
