1974 Buick LeSabre Luxus Convertible

The car needs totally restored but it is very solid, solid frame, floor and trunk. The car has sat for awhile but runs really smooth except a little stumble upon acceleration from needing a tune-up. It was supposed to have a rebuilt engine when I bought it back in 2001 and I could see from new gaskets and it ran very well and had a lot of power! The transmission was a rebuild from AAMCO and performed very well but from setting the last time I had it on the road it would only stay in 3rd gear at high speed around 65 or 70 so I'm thinking the governor might be sticking from setting. The car stops good and has a full duel exhaust and is quiet. The tires are old and I don't know if they should be trusted but they have good tread and I don't see any dry rot or cracking. The battery is weak and will need to be replaced but I will be able to get it started by jumping or borrowing a battery from another car. Car will need to be towed. The top goes up and down but needs replaced and a couple brackets. Contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking. Eric
