1967 Buick Skylark Convertible
The previous owner had owned this car since 1974 and had it restored 12 years ago. Unfortunately, due to illness, it spent the last several years outside only a few miles from the ocean. This has caused significant rust. The car will need the normal work done for a car that hasbeen sitting - flush fuel tank, rebuild carb, brake work, tires, battery - but it was a great running car when it was parked so I don't think it will be too hard to get it drive able. However, it is very rusty. I think this car could have3 different uses:
1. Restore - but it wouldtake a lot of body work - needs new hood, trunk lid, door skins, lower fenders and then custom metal fabrication as well.
2. Parts Car - I hate to see this, but it does have a great deal of good parts that could help restore another old buick
3. Make a driver as is - a rusty old beach cruiser.
The good:
Bucket seats with console and automatic on the floor340 V-8 ( I don't think this is original as research I show the 340 only came in wagons and GT's)SOLID floors, frame and trunk pan - this could be key for a rusty northern carComplete with all trim etcfender skirtsConvertible top frame appears to be in good shape
Thanks for looking and please feel free to email me any questions
Car must be picked up in 2 weeks after auction ends.
Please only bid if you are serious about buying it

Correction - GS not GT on the engine notation. Also, I was told that you could get a Skylark with a 340 so not sure if original motor or not.
