Vintage Motorcars is pleased to present this 1970 Buick GS455.
This totally matching numbers 1970 Buick GS455 is equipped with a Ram Air 455 c.i. engine and the original Turbo 400 automatic transmission.
This beautiful muscle car is believed to be just over 67,000 original miles. The previous owner informed us that the engine was completely rebuilt at around 60,000 miles, so only has about 6,000 miles on it since. Enough to make you feel very comfortable that the rebuild was done right, and won't let you down!
The engine starts up immediately, does not smoke, and pulls like a locomotive! The original 4bbl carburetor was rebuilt, and performs flawlessly. The transmission was completely rebuilt at the same time as the engine, and had a mild shift kit installed. The engine and transmission perform exactly as you would expect from a turn-key classic that is ready to enjoy.
The original rear end was also rebuilt, and features a positraction rear with 3:55 gears. Under the hood; a new 4-core radiator was installed, and the rust-free, clean underside shows a brand new exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers for that classic big-block rumble!
This car was recently purchased from what is believed to be the 2nd owner, whom purchased the car in 2003.
The interior is beautiful, and the front bench seat was redone using OEM parts. At that time; the carpet was also replaced to give the interior a crisp, clean look.
The exterior of the car was professionally re-painted copper. There aren't any visible cracks, scratches or dents anywhere in this laser-straight body. This classic Buick is ALL STEEL with no filler or bondo. During the restoration; full quarter panels were replaced correctly with OEM parts.
This is a "turn-key" classic that is ready to cruise or show! With Chevelle big block pricing shooting for the stars; the Buicks are slowly starting to move up in value. Don't wait!
