The LeSabre was a full size car made by Buick from 1959 to 2005 and represented some of the most stylish and sophisticated vehicles of their time. The first generation was made for just two years from 1959 to 1960 and had slanted quad headlights chrome grill and large tailfins. The 1960 facelift brought even more dramatic style and was one of the first Buicks with the then-new "Tri-Shield" logo. It offered a standard 364cid V8 that produced 250hp with the 2bbl carburetor and 300hp with the 4bb...l. Most came with a 2-speed Dynaflow automatic transmission and they came in a variety of body styles. The convertibles were very popular but it is estimated that less 14000 were produced.
