This is quite a difference from its current competitor the Ford Model T which only had 20 horsepower and 4 cylinders and was only $400 new. The '27 Buick also has features a heat rising "vaporizer" carburetor. The car was given a $21000 make over roughly 20 years ago. A new coat of paint was applied and the chrome was re-done. The 6 cylinder was given new aluminum pistons and rings new rod bearings and main bearings at this time. The shims were also removed from the main bearing. The car came out of a collection in Florida then changed hands and has been residing in a private collection for a few years in Michigan. Cosmetically the car shows very well.
