This is a mostly original and rare 1962 Buick LeSabre.
I know Iwhat you’re thinking…. Its not as sexy as a ’63 Vette, or as powerful as a ’70 LS6 Chevelle, and you’re right. However; I have owned several cars over the years (including the 2 aforementioned muscle cars), and I absolutely LOVE driving this Buick. It may not be the fastest… it may not be the sexiest… it may not “pick up chicks” as you cruise Woodward Ave… but it WILL put a huge smile on your face every time you drive it because of the sheer quality of this 55 year old cruiser.
The LeSabre was considered to be the “working man’s luxury car” in the early 60’s, and is clearly a step up in class from the Impala without being as showy as the Cadillac.
This classic Buick is laser straight down it’s long, sleek body lines, and doesn’t show a single ripple. The Arctic White paint was professionally applied several years ago, and still looks amazing!
The original Turquoise interior shows absolutely beautifully, and is in excellent shape. It should be considering this car is showing just barely over 91,000 miles, and is believed to be original!! The long bench seat is comfortable without showing much wear, and the headliner is intact just the way it should be. The carpet shows some minor fading, but nothing to get upset about. The horizontal dash and instruments are clear and bright, and the dash pad is free of cracks. Everything works just the way it should…. even the clock and the original Sonomatic AM radio.
This classic 60’s cruiser retains its original 401 cubic inch V-8 engine featuring 280 HP, and bulletproof 2-speed automatic transmission. The engine and transmission perform flawlessly, and start right up every time!
This easy to drive cruiser has power steering and power brakes, and is truly a pleasure to drive. Don’t pass up the opportunity to own this beautiful car for about half the price of an Impala of the same year!
