I inherited this car from my father. I had it shipped from California last month. There is some superficial rust on the chrome, but the body and frame is solid. It has never seen a New England winter. The car is in fantastic condition. It's registered, inspected, and can be driven with no problem. This is the perfect platform for a restoration. It has a 225ci V-6 with a 3 speed automatic transmission. The interior is not original, but it is very clean. The radio.
Heater controls are intact and operate, but the cables need to be lubricated.
The original windshield wiper switch does not work, so the wipers are wired to a toggle switch.
This does not have the original engine and transmission. . It is a 225CID with a three speed Automatic transmission and a 4 barrel 500cfm carburetor. The head casting numbers indicate that the engine is from a 1967 to 1974 Kaiser Jeep, which provides the side benefit of having power steering which was not original.
