Car description

Here is a rare Buick Special 47 Slant-back suicide 4 door. It was completed in the early nineties at a cost of over $40k. It was a rust-free car and still is. The drivetrain consists of an early 396 v8 big block Chevy motor. The trans is a Turbo 400. The front suspension has Fat-man drop spindles and power steering was added. The car has PW,PB, tilt, Pl, Power sunroof, cassette, with multiple CD player in trunk. The car also has A/C but needs completed. Everything is there with the exception of the heat/ac box which I will include the one I got with the vehicle. The car drives nicely and stops very good with drum brakes. The interior is very presentable with no rips or tears but shows some minor wear. All glass was replaced with tinted glass that is still perfect with the exception of a couple of very minor chipsflaws in the left windshield which are virtually unnoticeable. The paint is good for 25 years old, but does have some minor touchups of nicks and scratches. From15 feet car looks wonderful. All the chrome was re-plated at a huge cost and is still brilliant. All gauges work. The sunroof is power and works perfectly with no leaks. Itlooks like it was a factory installed item, asit is so nice. All wiring was replaced and all lights work perfectly. It has air horns which are loud and sound great. This is a greatdriver quality car. Mechanically, the engine was rebuilt along with the transmission at the time of the build. The car shifts perfectly and it has electric cooling fans and runs between 180 and 210, depending on traffic. The average temperature is 185-190.The alternator and water pump are also new. There is no smoke or leaks, however there is sometimes a little valve train chatter when first started which I am told is normal on these early big blocks. It no way detracts from the car .The car is ready to drive and can go anywhere. It is a very sharp car which I am going to offer in a no reserve auction. You couldn't even start to build this for what I am selling it for. We have owned this car for a long time but due to changes in our lives we are letting it go. I forgot to add, the rear end is Ford 9 inch I believe and is on coil springs. Vehicle has a great sound.

Winning bidder must deposit $500 thru Pay-pal within24 hours of auction's end. The remainder is to be paid by bank wire, cash or bank check. The car does not leave until payment is verified clear. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. I will store vehicle for 2 weeks for the buyer to make arrangements. The car is open for viewing or inspection so you may make a proper judgment for yourself. Winning bid does not give buyer the right to come and look at car to decide if you want or not. This is not a new car and may or may not be what you want. Please ask all questions or requests or you may call 419 304 3246 if you want to talk.
