Selling a true Survivor 1975 Buick Lesabre Custom Convertible with a 455 big block. All original, unmolested paint and interior. The Buick Lesabre Custom Convertible was produced in limited quantities and very few were produced with the 455 4 barrel engine which was a farely rare option. 1975 was also the last year of the Lesabre Convertible. This car stands to be very desirable and collectible in the near future. The car was purchased originally in California and spent it's entire life there until recently being shipped to NY. It only has 1,000 miles on it since 1991 as I found an old oil change decal showing its mileage in 1991. I also have the original registration receipt as well as the New Vehicle Inspection sheet from the dealership. The owners manual also comes with the car. It has 107,000 total well maintained all original miles and the odometer is working properly. The undercarriage is in excellent condition with only very very minor scale. The floor boards and trunk pan are perfect as is the gas tank. There is new exhaust installed from the converter back. The car starts and runs excellent and has been equipped with an original equipment re manufactured 4 barrel quadrajet carburetor. The brakes work perfect as well with no issues. Car rides excellent like any Buick with no funny noises or rattles. The transmission shifts as it should as well. The interior is in excellent condition with no rips in the seat, dash, door panels or arm rests. The carpet is also in good condition and presents nicely. The radio turns on and the 8 track player works. The power antenna does not work. The motor runs but the antenna does not come up. The power windows work as well however the back 2 are sometimes slow going up. The power seats also work. The Convertible top works flawlessly and does not have any rips. The top also shines nicely and presents very well. There is a spare tire in the trunk and the trunk is in great condition. All the lights work as they should and there are no electrical issues. This car still shows the original paint and in most places it shines just like new as I spent several hours cleaning and buffing it to a shine. There are imperfections in the paint: several paint chips and a dent behind the driver door. There is a very minimal Rust issue on the passenger side rear lower quarter with 2 very small holes. Please see the pictures of the dent and Rust. The rear bumper filler needs replacing as it is original rubber and is cracked and not in great shape. (Very common issue with older original GM products) If you wanted a show car I suppose you would fix these issues however this car shows and presents excellent as is and is ready for any car show or cruise in. I am describing this Buick in detail so the buyer knows exactly what they are getting. I can not see how any person would be disappointed in this car. It is a very nice ride and I am not asking Classic Car Dealer pricing. I have seen these Convertible's with 455 sell for more money then my reserve that need a good amount of work. This car has had a recent oil change and is ready for the road. It will NOT come with the wheels pictured however can come with one of 2 options: the stock hubcaps shown in the pictures or a nice set of Buick Rally wheels. I will work with the buyer on which they prefer. The wheels will come wrapped in a nearly brand new set of Cooper Trendsetter tires. Bid and buy this car with confidence. It certainly could be a daily driver or just a weekend cruiser. It is not a Barrett Jackson show car and is not priced as such. Car will come with a custom fit car cover as well and parade covers which are painted to match. Those parade covers are $500 alone. Please do some research on these cars and see what they are selling for. It is priced to move as I just bought another project that needs my attention and investment. I am willing to assist with a shipper at the buyers cost. Immediate non refundable $250 deposit at auctions end and full payment by the pick up time. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy. Thanks and good luck, no disappointments.
