I am selling my '71 Buick Skylark Convertible. This car has been well taken care of. It's been garaged for most of its life on the west coast - Las Vegas. Arizona and Washington State. I have owned it since September 2009. My uncle was the previous owner. When he purchased it. the motor and transmission was rebuilt to stock specs. Both have about 18k miles on them since rebuild. It's a numbers matching car. The brakes. suspension and some steering parts were also replaced at that time. Since. I've owned it. I really wanted to keep the motor mostly stock. I added Hooker Headers with Flow Master exhaust. electronic ignition. front and rear Hotchkis sway bars. a GS hood and Ram Air breather components. I also. upgraded the stereo system which sounds great! The paint on the car was already done when I got it. I would give it a 7 out of 10. The under-carriage is good shape as well. Not perfect - but nothing major. Convertible top works. The interior is in really nice condition. It's probably the best part of the car. The white is very clean! I always keep the seats covered. The carpet is original. It could be replaced at some point. but that's easy. Also. I had the AC serviced last summer and it blows cold - recharged with R12. It also has a very nice Clifford alarm with proximity sensor (for convertible) and tilt sensor (for jacking up car). Overall. this is a very nice car! It runs very strong. I've taken it on a few road trips with no issues. I really hate to see it go. but it's time to part ways with it.
