FOR SALE BY OWNER - Exclusively offered here on eBay!
Looking for a superb Roadmaster? Look no further.
Read EVERYTHING below. Questions after? Contact Classics, Survivors, and Rare Automobiles through eBay messages or call (No texting!) 215-416-8604 anytime between 10AM - 10PM Eastern. My private, wholly-owned collection has been assembled through many years of patience, hard work, and dedication to the hobby. Every now and then, I decide to let one go to make room for another. This time, it's one of the Roadmasters.
A brief history...
The Buick Roadmaster has an extra special place in the history of distinctly American motoring with the name first used in 1936. These extravagant cars, built from the mid-1930's to 1958, are the proud ancestors of the final generation of Roadmaster vehicles (1991-1996). The reintroduction of the Roadmaster name after more than 30 years of absence marked a daring, but short-lived, return to grandeur for Buick. 1991 featured only a Roadmaster station wagon with the sedan making it's deservedly separate debut for 1992. Production numbers of these "premium American motorcars" as they were billed in the sales brochures of the day, paled in comparison to those of the all-too-common Mercury Grand Marquis . From 1992-1997, roughly 700,000 Mercury Grand Marquis rolled off the assembly line as compared to a lean 225,000 Roadmasters from 1991-1996 (sedan and wagons combined!). Only about 40,000 Roadmasters were produced in 1993, about one-half of the previous year's numbers due to ever-declining demand early on in this car's brief production run. Tens of thousands of these extremely desirable cars have succumbed to the perils of life outside the garage, neglect, abuse, and of course, many were destroyed during the "Cash for Clunkers" campaign. Anyone who has driven a Roadmaster knows they're anything but "clunkers." This leaves a select few of them that are still in existence in truly excellent, all original condition. You have the opportunity to own one today.
This beautifully kept, all original 1993 Buick Roadmaster is ready to please the most discriminating Buick collector. It runs and drives just as great as it looks! It is EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED. No matter if you're around the corner or on the opposite side of the world, you can be confident about purchasing this magnificent car sight unseen. Of course, we welcome anyone who would like to see, test drive, and inspect the vehicle while it is available for sale. As long as the buyer is willing to pay for shipping, we can have it transported to most destinations worldwide!
Some valuable information about this car:
  • Value in collector car's is all about the right options, the right colors, and most importantly, original condition. This car is all that, and more.
  • Impeccably maintained (work done in the past 2 years has been listed below)
  • Commonly regarded among GM collectors as the single best option one could ask for in these full-size sedans, this Buick is factory-equipped with the RPO V92 trailer/towing package (although the car never towed anything in it's life, this rare option significantly improves the acceleration, optimizes the shift pattern, stiffens up handling, increases braking ability, and more! Inlcudes heavy duty front and rear stabilizers, rear traction bars, heavy duty springs, front spring-assisted shock absorbers, rear air suspension/leveling system, larger rear brakes, 3.08 rear axle ratio, heavy duty engine cooling system including integrated oil cooler)
  • Dual power seats with power passenger's seatback recliner!
  • Electrochromic auto day/night mirror
  • Full-size spare tire and premium wheel (spare has never touched the ground since new!)
  • Original DGGM (dark green gray metallic) exterior basecoat/clearcoat finish with painted silver / gold pinstripe, and matching DGGM factory landau roof!
  • Electronic automatic climate control
  • Keyless entry system, deluxe gauge cluster
  • Ultra-comfortable, sumptuous, beautifully appointed light gray leather interior
  • Hardly ever driven in the rain, NEVER driven in the snow or on salty roads.
  • Much, much more to this car than meets the eye.
Detailed maintenance/repair history (within past 2 years):
  • Ice cold A/C! (system was fully restored in 2016)
  • All shocks replaced with premium Gabriel products including load carriers in front and HiJackers in rear (2015)
  • Rear automatic leveling / air suspension system fully restored (2015)
  • New front stabilizer end links (2017)
  • All fluids/filters are fresh. Regularly checked and drained/refilled/replaced as necessary including rear differential.
