This 1929 Buick Series 121 Model 29-48 Two Door Coupe is truly a piece of automobile history. The original owner. who had possession of this car until his death. was a Buick dealer living in New York. The second owner was a gentleman residing in Long Island. New York who purchased it at the estate sale of the first owner. The third owner was a man living in Southern California. A couple from Northern California were the fourth owners. Lastly. the fifth owners of this beautiful car are presently offering it for purchase. Only 4. 55 were made of the 1929 Buick 29-48. which originally cost $1. 55(!) This four passenger model has a 121 inch wheelbase (hence. "Series 121") and features a large window in each door and substantial-size quarter windows behind the door windows. 1929 was the silver anniversary of the company founded by David Dunbar Buick. who sadly died the same year. This car was featured in "The Buick Bugle". published by the Buick Club of America. Inc. in the July 1985 issue. Volume 20. Number 3. and is shown on the cover of that issue. Not only is this lovely vehicle running. it can go up to 50 MPH on the freeway. and has been enjoyed on many outings over the years. including just this past weekend.
