Car description |
---|
This beautiful car is a true, fully documented 1 owner southern vehicle that has been garaged and never exposed to salt. It was originally purchased in Texas, immediately rust-proofed by Ziebart to protect from environmental chemical corrosion, and relocated to Alabama just 6 months later where it has been ever since. It has virtually no rust! I am the original owner, & I have a nearly complete file of records & receipts so you'll know everything that was ever done to the car.
This car is not perfect, but it's not far from it! The car does have a few minor door dings & small scratches, but nearly all the paint is still the high quality factory-original paint. One front fender was dented in the 1980's so that is aftermarket paint, and the hood has some southern heat stress cracking. Other than minor touch ups, everything else is the original paint.
The interior is almost perfect. The headliner was replaced & the front door armrests were reupholstered by a trim shop. Everything else is original. The dash is nearly perfect but has 1 small 2" long crack near the driver side windshield post, and the stereo tweeter grate is cracked on the passenger side. The car is loaded with power options, and everything works except for the intermittent clock. The vinyl roof has been impacted by the southern heat & is cracked. A local specialist quoted about $900 for replacement, but if you are handy I found a pre-made top with the exact factory color & pattern at an Oregon supplier for about $300.
I was a maintenance engineer in my professional life, so the car has been extremely well maintained. I tried to keep it as original as possible & would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I will accept PayPal or cash payment. A $500 deposit is due immediately upon end of the auction, and full payment within 7 days.
