1982 Buick Grand NationalONLY 212 ever Made! Yes this is an Original!
Please Note some of the pictures are during the restoration process!
It is time to let my piece of Buick Grand National History Go on to another home. This is a VERY rare and unique piece of Buick History. This was the FIRST Buick Grand National. Most people even Grand National Enthusiasts have never even heard of a 1982 Buick Grand National. Most Grand National Fans still believe that all Grand Nationals were Black! But, the truth is that in 1982 Buick built 212 of these very rare Grand Nationals. They ONLY came in this color scheme. It also ONLY came in T-Tops and these are theoriginalones with the original bags in the restored Trunk! There is a special Grand National logo in the Speed odometer panel. This car came with the same Lear Seigler Seats that were in the 1984 Grand Nationals. I have kept the inserts and changed all of the fabric and door panels. The car is in excellent condition. The engine and transmission rebuilt by a race car builder down here is south Florida keeping the original engine block and transmisson as stock as possible. Details below. It will run forever. It is NOT a fast car. But is sounds loud and the engine looks brand new. I have not put many miles on it since the restoration. Maybe a 1000 or so.
This car has been totally restored. It was stripped and all repairs were made and then repainted in the orginal colors. The Car looks better then NEW from the outside. The Clear coat is Ferrari Grade Clear and there are Multiple layers of Paint and Clear. The Paint Job is more then I am asking for the car. All of the inside fabric has been changed. The seats centers have been retained as they are unique to this model. They are the original Lear Seigler Inserts. Most of the Trim has been replace or repaired. The engine is the original engine block. But, I changed the manifold and the exhaust is all custom. It was fitted with a larger radiator. But, As much as humanly possible has been kept original on this historic piece of history. You will never see another in better condition. This is NOT a tribute car. This is AN ORIGINAL 1982 Buick Grand National and yes this is the original colors. Yes they did make a NON Black Grand National. ALSO the stencil letters are Painted NOT Stickers!
If you are looking for a piece of history that NO ONE else will have at the next car show and will Turn heads this is your car. I get 10 times morecommentsand questions about this car than my Ferraris! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Viewing can be arranged down here in South Florida
Buyer will arrange all shipping and insurance.Thank you for looking at my auction!
