Car description

1973 Buick Riviera Hardtop 2-door with 4-barrel 455 engine - odometer reads 16,751 (I assume that means 116,751) This car has been parked/stored in my driveway for the last 15 years and is not currently licensed (has a clear title) - it's been started every year and moved back & forth per San Antonio City Code Compliance - it was last started a week ago and it runs strong & smooth - starts every year no problem and hasn't leaked stuff on my driveway - was started with a container of fresh gas hooked up to the fuel system (gas in the tank should be drained before starting again) - you will need to replace the battery. There are rust issues with the top that became apparent after the old vinyl top was removed (see pics) - there are several small holes on top along with the fact that the front & rear window channels need to be replaced - all of the old repairs around the wheel openings need to be redone (car has been repainted) - the trunk seems good with a couple of small visible holes - this car originally came from Arizona and was undercoated, however, until disassembled there may be other issues not evident - the interior needs the seats, door panels, dash, seat belts, headliner & carpet reupholstered/replaced (I got an rough estimate of around $2,000 for the interior work) - currently the back seat & headliner along with the driver's side panels have been removed due to the roof issues - steering wheel, hood latch cable and driver's side door handle need to be replaced - steering column/ignition need repair - there are shop manuals available online to aid you in reassembly - this car has power windows & factory air conditioning but I've never tried them. I am selling this car as a Parts Car "AS IS" (absolutely no returns!) or Project Car if you desire - it would take a minimal amount of money to make this car road-worthy and then it could be driven to the body shop for roof repair, etc. - it has a great sounding engine and is straight with no signs of wrecks other than the front bumper has been tapped out of position on the driver's side (bumper is fine but brackets will need to be repaired/replaced so the bumper can be put back in position) front grill sustained minor damage - a new set of tires was put on about 6 years ago and have not been driven out of the driveway so flat tires will not be an issue - any questions, please ask! There is a $200.00 non-refundable deposit due at the end of the auction & payment is due within 7 days by Cashier's or Personal check (must clear first) Paypal or Cash in person - buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements or can pick-up free here in San Antonio.
