Up for auction here is a 1966 Buick Skylark Convertible. This is a very nice cruiser and gets a lot of looks. The car recently went on Route 66 down to New Mexico and back, so it's very trustworthy. This is a very solid car that has had an older restoration, and it still looks very good. The body is straight and rust free, and the underside is just as clean as the top side. The interior is also very clean and mostly original. There was a lot of NOS parts that were used at the time of the restoration inside and out. All of the trim, bumpers and glass are in great shape. The convertible top is power which works great and it seals up nicely. The 17" wheels and tires have less than 500 miles on them, and they fit the car very well with no rubbing. The original 14" wheels, tires, and caps also go with the sale of the car. The engine is a 300ci. V8, and the transmission is a 2 speed powerglide automatic. The transmission was just overhauled 5,000 miles ago by a local transmission shop and is just as good as new. It runs and drives great without any issues. The options it has is power steering, power brakes and electric windows. Everything on the car works as it should. Overall this is just and excellent cruiser that I would trust to drive across the countrywith. It has a very nice clean look to it and needs nothing except a new owner.
