For Sale is a 1938 Buick Special, 4 door sedan. I bought this car a year or so ago and was planning to restore it but I have too many projects and not enough space to keep it. The car does run and drive, however the brakes don't work. I cleaned the gas tank and replaced the fuel pump and battery. The engine starts right up and sounds great. I have driven it around the yard, the clutch seems good and it shifts through the gears fine. The previous owner replace a couple of brake lines and bought some wheel cylinders, which are in the trunk. The body is very solid, the worst rust is in the panel under the trunk, the trunk floor, and a small spot on the drivers floor. The running boards each have a little rust See pics. The car is missing the front and rear bumpers, rear bumper brackets, parking lenses, taillight lenses, and one running board bracket. Other than that it's pretty much complete. The seats were missing I bought the correct ones but they need recovering. The rest of the interior is rough but all there except headliner and floor covering. The last owner tried changing the glass, some cracked, some are not installed correctly, and 3 pieces are not in the car. There are 2 pieces in the trunk. The mileage reads 78,677 miles. I was told that's the right mileage but theres no way to confirm it. The car is being sold with a bill of sale only. Please look at the pictures and ask questions before you bid the car is a project but it runs great and has minimal rust. I can be reached at 508-326-6665 or you can email me through ebay.
