This car Drives, uns & Rides great. This is a 2 door hardtop without any stripes or unnecessary chrome work, verything is simple yet elegant. The chrome on the car is how it was to be originally and is in fantastic shape. There are nicely done details on the hood with chrome and crisp lines. Distinguishing this as a 1965 Riviera, he taillights are located in the rear bumper. The front grille shows a nice shine with the highly sought after clamshell headlights. The stance of the car is great and just how it looked in '65, nd also how it should remai, lthough a new paint job would bring the car to an even higher level. The bucket seats in the front look nice and plush while the back seats look just as nice. Everything from the door panels to the carpetsare clean and ready for the next owner. When sitting behind the wheel you'll see wood veneer along the middle console and a wood grain steering wheel begs to be driven. What appears to be the original gauges sit in the dash waiting to tell you all you need to know about the car when on the road. With air conditioning and an AM/FM stereo you'll be all set for a weekend cruise around town or a road trip. The trunk could use new matts or upholstery and has a covered spare just in case you were to need it. Under the hood you'll find the original numbers matching "Nailhead" 401 V8 with later added 2x4 Intake and Carbs. The engine bay is clean andjust needs detailing to be ready to be displayed proudly at a local car show. The 401 sends spent gases out through the stock dual exhaust pipes for its original sound. Bolted to the block is a 3-speed automatic. Equipped with power brakes and power steering, his Buick is ready for plenty of cruising. The underside appears nice and clean.Matching numbers block. The block also shows that this is an LT code which is a 401 Nailhead. You'll find the trim tag shows the original color of Seafoam Green with the custom optional custom interior which was Beaumonde Fabric Insertswith vinyl bolsters in it's original green. There is a receipt dating back to 1973 when the owner had 2 small sections on the front seats replaced with original fabric. Other than that it appears the interior is all original. There are receipts from each owner since the car was purchased. All items are for minor maintenance and repairs. We would like to thank the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight for their unique location used at many of our photo shoots.Be sure to visit this historical museum if you find yourself in the Dallas, exas area. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' showroom is located only minutes away.In 1985 the original mufflers and exhaust pipes were replaced.
