Hello everyone and thanks for looking at this beautiful 1949 buick military issued model 41.. only 800 were made and 600 went over seas and 200 sold in the USA..this one was purchased from an small ohio dealer by the mayor...this car has lots of cool paperwork that comes with it . paperwork with the car says it was stretched on a limo frame so it could have more room for the commanders and chiefs and that these had under floor heaters installed under the front passenger seat for the rear passengers as well...i purchased this from a older couple who have been the proud owners since 1991 when they bought it and had it got painted and rechromed. this car sat in there garage and got less than 1000 miles put on it 25 yrs. previous owners said they took the car out of the garage at least 2 times a yr, hen i went to drive the car it would turn over but not fire..as the fuel pump was bad and has been replaced along with a new 6 volt battery.tires are dry rotten and will need replaced as there stamped like 1977..we cruise it up n down the backroads just not down the highway with those tires.i buy n sell and drive old cars and ratrods..to me overall the car is a 8/9 out of 10. i do know the clock doesnt work and we never tried the heater yet....with a professional detail this car is sure to bring home a trophy and have lots of people stare and ask question..if u have any questions please call me 740 503 6455.. please come view this nice piece of history
