I am selling my 1938 Buick which I have had for 13 years due to downsizing and not having the room to store it. It has been driven approx. 2000 miles in all those years (153 miles a year) since I purchased it. It's a very nice car for tooling around town or doing the local shows. We've used it for weddings, arties & special occasions where it always draws a crowd. The car was painted by the previous owner a 1970's Mercedes Blue. The interior has had some work done on it (carpets) but to make it really nice the dash & window moldings should be repainted. See description condition for more info. I am not aware of any major engine work except normal maintenance. It drip some oil so I'm sure a gasket or 2 need replacing. This is a good car for someone not looking to start from scratch and where some TLC could make her better. I am the 3rd owner. The first owner (and family) had it for about 60 years on a farm in Iowa. The 2nd owner brought it to Texas where it was repainted and then brought it to Illinois. The wiring loom was replaced a few years back and never did the final hook up on the heater and dashboard lights. Its now looking for a good home who will appreciate it. It come with 1938 Illinois & Iowa "Sample" License Plates "000000" and a 1938 Iowa State Road Map (new). The license plates are extremely hard to find and it took me 10 years to get them.
