Car description

1962 Buick Electra 225 Convertible Hidden 30 years

Bought brand new in N.C. and always serviced right here in Danville VA by the same tech. 40 years of service records with the car. I am the 2nd owner of the car. What I have done to the car: New condenser, oints, ater pump, aster cylinder, ebuilt factory Carter 4 brl carb, ew wheel cylinders, rake lines, elts, oses, lugs etc. It runs great. It will need a new gas tank, uel lines and radiator to be driven daily. It does have minor rust issue in rockers but not through to the floors. There is a little rust in trunk, quarter size holes.Floors and everything else pretty solid. It does have an old repair on driver side fender. The first owner hit a parked car with it. Nothing major. This car is not perfect. Its a clean BARN find. Far from perfect. I have never put the top down but the motor works. This car has power seats, ower windows, ower top, ower antenna, actory air, actory power steering. Its fully loaded. Even has the rare safety speed buzzer and headlight dimmer. All seems to work.Keep in mind this car was stored in a farm garage for 30 years so the interior is not perfect. Needs a super good cleaning if not redone. Carpet really needs to be replaced. Its a super rare find with lots of local history. This car is powered by the #s matching 401 Wildcat Nail Head/445 torque. Great strong motor. It will make a nice cruiser or easy restoration car. You will have to haul because we are running motor from a 1 gallon makeshift tank. Like I said it will need a new fuel tank. 61 or 62 GM - Impala tank should work. Please if you have any questions e-mail me or call (434) 489-5466. This is a 55 year old car. I encourage people to please come check the car out in person before buying or bidding. Do not bid unless you are a buyer. Thanks for looking and good luck! Great car for the money!
