1958 Buick Limited 4 Door RivieraThis is the THE Buick of 1958. The Limited was a one year experiment that "out-Cadillaced Cadillac." It is said that the 58 Limited had more chrome than any American car before or since. This is a one family owned Oklahoma car that has been parked since 1976. It is finished in Black with the optional Silver and Black interior. This car has all of the standard Limited equipment plus Autronic Eye headlight dimming, onderbar Radio and Factory Air Conditioning. It was originally equipped with air suspension but was converted back to conventional coil springs long ago. I had planned to keep this car for my 1958 GM collection but things have changed and she will be sold. We obtained this car last year from the family's estate and have not touched it since we brought it home. I do not know if the engine turns or not. Under the hood, he appears to be complete and untouched from air breather to oil pan. We have not even tried to hook a battery up to it.This is a complete, traight and solid car that needs everything. It was parked in 1976 and forgotten. The body is straight and solid except for the slight dent in the front fender. All chrome is straight and in in good shape except the bent front bumper and broken grille. The right rear door glass is cracked and some of the other flat glass has some hazing around the edges. We buffed 1 small spot by hand and the paint actually shined up. There are no obvious rust holes visible in the body or floor. We have not pulled the carpet or trunk lining up for further inspection. The car is complete less 1 "Limited" script. NOS replacements for the chrome hash marks missing in the photos have been obtained and are included in the sale.This is a rare opportunity to own an unmolested unmodified example of one of the most iconic cars of the 1950s.This car is sold as is and all shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
