1957 Buick Roadmaster Convertible Model 76C. One of 4,363 built.Original price of $4,100..Engine is the original 364 cubic inch V8 motor and is free.It does run.Has automatic transmission.Power steering andbrakes.This 1957 Buick Roadmaster convertible is quite an unusual automobile to find in very good unrestored condition.Same owner 22 years.My life changes do not allow for finishing this dream car.Car shows 76,000 miles.It has great qualities to work with but needs full restoration. Original rare color of Artic Blue with a white top and two tone blue interior.The Car has very good quality bright work.Has 5 Buick OEM Skylark Kelsey Hayes wire wheels with spinners in verygood original condition as shown with a brand new set of Coker wide whitewall tires,correct jack. Rear bumper ends are not rusted. Tail lights are exceptional original with minimal pitting.Grill is quite nice, OS grill badge bar.Also included is the correct,nice Roadmaster headlight bezels.High quality pair of Trail Master spotlights. One NOS and other is almost as nice,WOW! Rare and exceptional condition.(recent Ebay pair of trailmasters fetched $4,000).Dash is nice original with Wonderbar radio and rare foot pedal that also changes the station. Comes with power antennae, indows and seats. Car has never been a field car. It does have rust through in the rockers and some in front of rear wheel wells on quarters. Car comes with rocker panel and quarter panel replacement sheet metal.Floors are generally solid. Trunk area has no rust through not even in the spare wheel well. Front floors have no rust through but have rust scaling in spots as shown. Rear seat pans are good with the only rusted through area is below the front of the rear seat near the brace for the front of the rear seat(shown in photo). Frame is very solid with No weak spots orstructural damage. This is not a rust bucket and the extent of rust damage is unusual int that the rust damage is almost entirely in the rockers and the lower quarters. The car did not come with A/C. Included is a very rare,desireable complete factory 1957 Buick air conditioning system. Compressor,condenser,dryer,all 3 dash vents including A/C dash pad, ash A/C controller and cables and hardware. High quality pair of Trail Master spotlights. One NOS and other is almost as nice,WOW! Comes with power antennae, indows and seats. The drivers door window is cracked and removed from car,window frame is good. Interior is very original and intact,carpet was removed. Original leather seats for patterns. Seat springs are good,foam deteriorated. Included is an extensive literature collection. There are plastic bound copies of Chassis manual and Body manual,owners manual,product manuals,paint chips,Buick master parts books for body and also chassis,original glove box literature. The only piece that i know to be missing on the car is a small trim piece that is 4 or 5 inches wide that should cover the gap of the top of the windshield stainless trim. Extra parts NOS Rochester 4 barrel carburetor,window motors,gauge set,2 new mufflers,brake parts. Included is a very good set of green front fenders(shown in photo.Due to storage limitations now I got rid of the blue hood in the picture(because it had light bondo and had the excellent green hood on the car( shown in photo). I do have an extra excellent 1957 Buick rebuilt 364 motor and transmission that are not included but are available). Originally there were 3 parts cars.Any restorer will appreciate the fine quality parts to work with. Almost no unrestored 1957 Buick Roadmaster Convertibles have come up for sale in recent years.This one is quite complete and better than it looks.You see rust in rockers but really its quite a solid car.1957 Buick convertibles have sold for as much as $208,000.
