Car description

Up for sale is a 1937 Series 46 2 passenger business coupe. According to the "Standard Catalog of American Cars" this car is one of only 13742 cars built. Compared to the 110,849 two passenger coupes the "Standard Catalog of American Cars" says Chevrolet built in 1937, his is a pretty rare car. The car comes with a nice clear title in my name and possession. The car was originally blue with tan interior. It is fairly complete with the exception of the wheels and front spindles. The glass will all need to be replaced. The original 100hp 248 cid engine and transmission are in the car, ut are not running and engine is stuck, ut it is all there. However, he offset air cleaner is there and is in very nice shape. The best part about this car is the condition of the chrome and grill. The grill is absolutely perfect. The hood ornament is perfect. The chrome strips running down the drivers side from hood to the rear of the car is perfect. The passenger side is almost as perfect however the strip on the door has a small ding in it, might be able to be fixed). The 3" chrome strips that are on the cowl are both missing. The Art Deco door handles are in very nice shape as well as the chrome strips on the side of the headlight buckets. The grills on either side of the hood are also in wonderful shape. The car is fairly sold as well body wise the only rust is in the drivers passengers door and in the lower part of the rear quarter, right behind the drivers door) . The drivers and rear passengers floor boards are in nice shape, ut the passenger front and drivers rear have holes in them. The trunk floor will also need replaced. The seat is in the car and so is the factory clock in the glove box door, owever the radio is long gone. I bought the car from a man whose father in law bought the car in 1948, e drove the car up into the 50's and then it was parked. He gave the car to his son in law in the mid 80's, nd he drug it home and never did anything with it. I also kept a photocopy of the old title from 1948, ust because I thought it was cool. All in all this is a nice builder car that could go either back to original or become a beautiful hot rod. We have the equipment to safely load the car on a car trailer. Thank you for looking.
