This 1988 BMW 325i is a great example of BMW's famous bulletproof E30 series. It has always had meticulous garaged care and maintenance. It was a one owner "condo car" until the original owner became too old to drive this year. He owned many cars, ence the 3k or so miles a year. If the car ever coughed, t went to the BMW doctor, ame mechanic for over 10 years. The mechanic told me that the original owner loved the car to the extent that the mechanic was provided a "blank check" for upkeep and repairs. No rust (see pics) and never modified, riven hard or abused. It was not driven in rain and I doubt the back seats have been used. The expensive issues for the E30 have been done to the tune of well over $6,000. The car's preventative maintenance over the last few years (receipts provided for most) include: New Muffler (2 weeks ago) Suspension Refreshing: Front Struts Rear Shocks Strut Mounts Front Control Arm Bushings Outer Tie Rod End Shock Mounts Alignment AC/Cooling Refreshing: Radiator Hoses AC Evaporator AC dryer Evaporator Core Receiver Dryer Retrofit AC to R134A New AC Liquid Line Complete recharge Thermostat Coolant Sensor Coolant Fuel Injector Seals Brakes: New Master Cylinder Flush and Fill with new Fluid Clutch Slave Cylinder Fuel System: Fuel Pump Fuel Filter Convertible Top Replaced (back window clear) The 5-speed makes this car a blast to drive and gets about 25 mpg. The leather interior is in great condition as is the dash (testimony to garage living). The ONLY reason we are selling is due to an unexpected death in the family and consequent inheritance of TWO vehicles. We have lost the garage space and are unwilling to park it outside. The odometer stopped working this year (very common broken plastic gear) but the mileage is realistically estimated at under 90k. It shows 83,050 but was titled this year at 82,128. The original stereo does not function and one rear window is "sporadic" (probably the switch needs cleaning). These issues are minor, ut I don't have time to address them. I am not aware of any other issues requiring attention. The car is being sold "as is" with no warranty. Please keep in mind that the car is 28 years old and has some wear and tear. I have listed the car with a low reserve due to my need to sell. I will require a Paypal deposit of $500 within 24 hours and full payment within 3 days. I welcome you to drive the car or feel free to contact me at 901.246.7386. I will consider ending the auction early for $ 4,500 to facilitate a quick sale but please call early in consideration of other bidders. As the bid approaches this price, will have to let the auction run its course. I have listed the car in other venues and will cancel the auction if it sells there. I require full payment prior to releasing the car; either cash, ire transfer or Bank Cashier's Check (it will have to clear the bank prior to release). I will keep the car undriven in my garage until pickup and will work with your shipper. I can recommend an excellent shipper.
