New Page 2 DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a 1972 BMW 3. 0CS. I just finished a repaint which was stripped down to bare metal. primed and repainted in original Baikal Blue. New leather seats front and back. I removed all trim. front and rear glass for repaint so that there wouldn't be any lines. I Re-chromed all window trim. installed new window seals. This was restored in the late 90s from the Northwest. I have a 4 page summary of what was done. moved to Utah in 2001 and only driven in summer for canyon drives. etc. I have a lot of the maintenance records dating back to the 80's. This was a Canadian import in the early 90's and I have all the paperwork from the import. There was some rust repair done in the earlier restoration but when we had the paint stripped there was no evidence of new rust. This only has been driven less than 15K miles since the restoration in the 90's. All windows work. sunroof works. all lights. blinkers. etc work. Has the original radio AM/FM. Engine is strong just had the valves adjusted and it sounds smooth no pings or valve noise. Brakes are good. tires are great-Z rated. Rims do have some curb rash. There are some minor things that are not prefect. the wood trim has some lacquer missing on some pieces. etc. I did have a brand new set of Weber Carbs installed as the old Zenith's needed to be rebuilt. I do still have the original Zenith pair I will include. if you want it original. This starts right up and drives great. International buyers are responsible to handle all export and shipping.
