Car description

This 1967 BMW 2000CS is a running project finished in Pacific Blue and powered by a 2.0-liter M10 inline-four paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. Work conducted under previous ownership included replacement of the fuel tank, tires, and fluids as well as a valve adjustment, the car was acquired on March 2018, This Euro-spec E120 is offered with partial records, an air cleaner, aftermarket exhaust system, German license plates, manual, and clean Florida title. The car is believed to have been repainted at least once in Pacific Blue. Rust repair is said to have been performed on the front valance, both fenders, rocker panels, and door bottoms under previous ownership. Remaining rust is visible on the rockers and floor pans, while a large dent with paint loss and corrosion can be seen on the right front fender. Several other areas show rust-through and bubbling, and the paint is cracked and worn throughout. The 14? steel wheels are reportedly date-coded to 1967 and wear reproduction hubcaps, three factory trim rings, and newer tires. A fluid leak is noted from the driver-side front brake caliper. The interior features black vinyl and white cloth seats as well as grey textured velour inserts. Tears are noted along the edges of the backrests along with cracks on the steering wheel and holes to the left of the instrument cluster Wood veneers remain affixed to the dashboard and door panels. The odometer shows just under 26k kilometers (~16k miles), and is believed to have rolled over once. The shifter bushings are said to be worn, with the linkage occasionally making contact with the driveshaft. The 2.0-liter M10 inline-four is equipped with twin Weber DCOE 40 carburetors and backed by a 4-speed manual gearbox. A compression test conducted under previous ownership was said to have showed results of 140-145 psi across all four cylinders. Further maintenance by the previous owner included a valve adjustment and fluid changes The trunk seal need replacement, and rust is present along the drain channels and in the spare tire well. The exhaust system is corroded, and an aftermarket replacement system is included in the sale.
