1992 BMW 325i Cabriolet - AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Rare Mauritius Blue/Tan color combo. Original paint. Extensive mechanical restoration.
I purchased last year from owner of 15 years who love this car and owned other BMW. It had been his baby and was maintained all its life. At 200,000 miles he had it mechanically restored and then stored it; driving it only 3,000 miles since. All power windows work, I could not get the power top to work so may be set up manually. All lights work, blinkers, brakes etc.
Recent Repairs Include:
$8K total spent on parts & labor! Have all service records. A quality E30 engine rebuild using OEM parts and sounds amazing with the Magnaflow exhaust.
Can use some cosmetic TLC. Has what I consider to be minor rust on the rear fenders; all has been treated and painted to prevent it getting worse. The paint looks good but is original so not great. Car drives, shifts and handles very well.
Things you should know
I have described this car to the best of my ability, you are welcome to drive or to have a prepurchase inspection. Great car; selling essentially for the cost of the rebuilt engine. I have 2 other E30's and a 2002 and 2002tii. I am only selling because I bought a home and the remodel is way over budget so unfortunately the car must go so I can replenish my bank account.

Things you should know
- Fan Motor makes noise above first setting
- Convertible cloth top has some tears that could should be able to be repaired as the rear window is very clear
- This is a 28 year old car and while some things have been replaced or rebuilt, it is not perfect
- Could not confirm AC works; light goes on and I can hear the compressor kick in but since fan motor only goes to first setting before the fan motor makes a bunch of noise; I couldn'tverify.
