OVER $17,000 invested in this one of a kind e30 Touring Wagon--no, I do not expect to get this all back...But it would be nice. PLEASE NOTE THE POSTED MILEAGE IS IN KILOMETERS...So, this gorgeous 320it has merely 79,557 miles!!!! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW exactly how many 320i Touring Wagons are in the United States--however, it is safely less than 100. It is VERY POSSIBLE this may be the only RIGHT HAND DRIVE e30 Touring Wagon in the Continental United States...I purchased this 1988 Touring Wagon with the (initial) intent to make it into a project car--put something sexy in it like an S54...Or even an N55...I'm about to get married and subsequently this project car becomes a casualty :( However, I have given this car a lot of love and its next owner a fantastic foundation to have a TRULY UNIQUE BMW. Recently spent $4,000+ on a complete repaint in Zinnoberrot Red (utilizing GLASURIT paint). Sourced IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND EUROPEAN RIGHT-HAND DRIVE AIR CONDITIONING RETROFIT PARTS--As this was a British-spec Touring Wagon, AC wasn't an option...Being in Southern California, having a car without AC is a non-starter--Spent north of $4,000 getting this done. Junked the garbage 14' factory wheels in place of 16' BBS RS style wheels. This car had (past tense) a crack-free dashboard--until it did what every other e30 dash does--now, two cracks (nearly obscure) have manifested. These are (very) easily patchable/repairable by a competent interior/upholstery shop. Gave the car a complete service...Cap, rotor, plugs, air filter, oil change, fuel filter, timing belt & tensioner pulley, engine belts. This is, more or less, where the project car has wound up...Runs fine. Noticeable panels missing in trunk (received it this way), sunroof is inoperative--but the motor is super-easy to come-by if that's the problem. Clutch engages very nicely with out slippage. No leaks. Little to no rust (there is a spot on the battery tray which is typical for e30's). Has 'smiley' halogen elipsoids. Interior would be VERY NICE were it not for the drivers seat. Again, this is a project car but thankfully nearly everything this touring needs is prevalent and easily sourced. Happy to answer any and all questions--I don't expect to recoup all of my money but the work I did on the car certainly enhanced its value. Subsequently, feel free to ask any questions and make offers--so long as they are VERY CLOSE to the asking price. PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OF THIS GORGEOUS 320it. Call with any questions. 747.227.5759
