1972 BMW 2002 tii Roundie

Here is a rare project car for restoration or parts. My hopeis someone will restore it because it is a unique, cool looking tii. Very few of these are left. The chassis has been lowered and fendersflared therefore not a candidate for concours restoration. I bought this in 87occasionally drove it for a few years and stored it in my garage planning on restoringit in my retirement. Unfortunately, myhealth won't allow it. Was running until a fuel injector nozzle failed and was garagedAll engine components and drive train are there except a battery. The interior isa mess and will require a lot of attention to restore. The head liner isintact. My plans were to tear the seats and inner door panels and put in a rollcage, Recaro style seats and a serious sound system instead of a back seat. Theupper dash is cracked but still has its original clock, which was working whenput in storage. I did purchase a new unused lower dash board, it will be in thetrunk. The U of A student who sold me the car said the center console was wreckedwhen the eight track was stolen. Remember this car is approaching 50 years old.Parking cable will need to be replaced (parts in trunk). Wink racing mirrors. Roundelmagazines including over 70 issues from 1985 - 93 and other literature.

Cosmetically the exterior needs some replacement trim, somerust bubbles on door and trunk lid and rocker panels removed. Exterior trimpieces that are missing in photos are in the trunk. Window gaskets will need tobe replaced. Basically, if it is rubber it needs to be replaced. Both rockerpanels are missing. I have since misplaced the title therefore you will need toapply for a lost title. I do have past registration information from Arizona.There also a lot of past receipts from myself and previous owners to follow itshistory.

If parting out, this will make someone a lot of money, theengine alone will fetch close to $2,000.00.Body parts, transmission and other components will sell quickly. Evensmall parts like taillight lenses windows, grills will easily sell.
