BEAUTIFUL & CLEAN 1976 BMW 2002

Selling my 1976 BMW 2002 - Numbers Matching- see pics

I've always enjoyed restoring these BMWs and getting them back on the road. I've had this one for about three years and has been the cleanest, most well kept one so far. The previous owner was given this car by his Father-in-law as a wedding present, back in the late 80's. Besides the normal maintenance, he wanted to improve the fuel efficiency, so he swapped out the four speed for a 318 five speed. It definitely helps with fuel, but runs so much more smooth than the rev'd up four speed.

The car sat in a garage in Denver for about ten years before I grabbed it. I've done all the normal replacement stuff to it, listed below. The interior seats are in great condition, no tears or ripsanywhere. Glass is in perfect condition. The car runs great! I always get the question when selling a car- "Can I pick up the car in Denver and drive to (insert East Coast City)"My answer is"Maybe".

Here is the bad:

Could use a paint refresh for small scratches and tiny paint chips. The car is 99% rust free, except for small paint chips. I replaced the center console, but cant find the correct gear shift boot that fits perfect. Maybe you will have better luck.
