1971 BMW 2800 CSA restored with 5 speed conversion

As the photos show,everything on the underside of the car wasrestored with as much attention to detail as the body, paint and interior. After the repairs and cleanup work were donethe whole panwas treated with Raptor for added corrosion protection and insulation. Everything else was detailedlikethe underside of the motor andthe suspension components. The rear axles have new boots,it hasnew brakes. The gas tank was removed and refurbished as were the fuel lines.

Everything in the motor compartment was redone from the insulation under the hood and hood support bar to rebuilt starter alternator, carbs - the works. The radiator was rebuilt, it has a new blower motor andthe AC system upgraded to 134a. It was fitted with an iPod compatible stereo sound system and new speakers. It is upgraded with a 5 speed manual transmission and new tires all around to get the power to the road. Don't forget it was the 2800 motor that won the races on the European circuit and gave the car its reputation. It is definitely no slouch!
